Friend Empathizes With 9/11 Hijackers

A former college student who befriended two Sept. 11 hijackers says what they did was wrong, but he understood how their hatred for American culture would give them "the courage to do what they did."

It works both ways. My hatred for their culture allows me not to care how many of them have to die before they finally understand that they'd better leave all Americans the hell alone.

Did you read the part where he helped the guys get into flight school, helped them get fake drivers licenses and SocSec cards, and lied about how and when he knew them, and he's still bitching about being deported back to Yemen? And he has the nerve to say he understands how the hijackers felt. Kill him in his seat right after the plane to Yemen leaves the gate and he thinks he's in the clear. And I hope it's a full flight.

Let me tell you something that has bothered me. I have met many Arab Muslims here in this country, both at school (Purdue) as well as in places I have worked (OR,CA, CO). I can assure you of the following 2 characteristics I detected in each one of them, without exception:

1) A visceral hatred of Isreal, to the point where they would have no sense of humor when I would make jokes about Palestinians throwing rocks at Isreali tanks.

2) An almost equal revulsion towards American values, particularly Christian and Western values. They loved our education system, but were full of contempt for other American things.

After a while, I started to carefully analyze their countries of origin, and reached the following conclusion: Only those Muslims who are from Arab or "middle-eastern" countries (such as Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Sudan, etc.) seemed to exhibit the above prejudices against America and Israel. The Muslims I encountered from non-Arab or non-Middle-Eastern countries (India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and even Iran) either did not have the same potency of feelings or atleast did not show it.

On the [asylum] form, he had written that he was a member of a minority Somali tribe and had seen his father murdered and sister raped. In truth, his father is a physician in Yemen.

He can understand the hate for our culture! I'm wondering if he understands anything else. Examples pile up in my mind. If our culture is so troublesome, why choose it to live in and receive an education? Why not go back to the stone age environment that drove him to other sources for a life? Just why the hell do his cronies from all over the world come here to get jobs as cab drivers, and rejoice as they send some of their new "riches" back to their families who, too, are trying to find ways to come to the hell that is the United

Yemen and Saudi delenda est sounds mighty good to me right about this time. This fellow needs to be shot (by a female Christian or Jewish faith) with a bullet dipped in pigfat and sent back to hell via one of those big shipboard guns wrapped in pigskin. They hate our values but they choose to come here anyway. Their religion preaches world domination. They openly talk about an islamic USA. The only thing that makes sense to me (aside from the fact that they are completely full of sh*t) is that they are here, they hate our values, but see the situation as only temporary. I believe that they believe and have been taught that this is a phase that they have to pass through until they have an islamic USA and islamic world. Probably much of what a German in the 30's living here might have said and thought. Put up with the idiots for now, but one day they will be licking your boots. These people need an a**-kicking and they need it bad. I believe that they will get one in very short order.
