BAKER CITY, Ore. -- Fugitive Edward Morris has been arrested in Baker City. Morris is accused of killing his pregnant wife and three children. Their bodies were found Dec. 21 in the Tillamook State Forest. Brother and sister Linda and Tom Martin said they spotted Morris' van near the town of Durkee about 20 miles east of Baker City and followed it to a Rite-Aid parking lot in town where witnesses said police made the arrest Saturday. Linda Martin is from Portland and Tom Martin is from the Olympia, Wash. area. The Baker County Sheriff's office, which is handling the incident, declined immediate comment. The search for Morris, 37, of Portland, had been centered recently in British Columbia. KOIN.com and KOIN-TV will have more information as it is available.

Not sure where the picture went in the original post. Trying again.

The guy looks just like the actor in "The Stepfather," whose plot is eerily similar to this real-life tragedy.

I mentioned to someone else this is like The Shining.
If I remember right there another husband who killed his wife and 2 kids in the same area last year.
I heard this husband, arrested today, heard about the previous case and for some reason wanted to duplicate it. Police found notes indicating that.
I don't remember the reasons why. Anyone know?

For a second I thought that Frank Rich was chasing around the guy who wrote the Reagan biography.

Hey now, you'd be referin' to our good buddy Christian Longo.
Father Kills Family Then Self
So, Christian isn't this guy. There are so many fathers who have killed their families in that areas. Its hard to tell which one you were referring to.
Well, at least they finally caught this father.

What really bites is that this guy has been charged with only seven counts instead of eight. I guess causing the death of an unborn child by murdering the mother isn't a crime. Only in Amerika. Actually, there are exceedingly few countries out there where the fetus would even be given a second thought, unlike the US. But the reality is that the DA is going to go for the charges that bring clear, uncontroversial verdicts with the most extreme penalties possible. Thowing a fetus argument into it would just turn the whole trial into a big circus.
This guy's gonna get either life w/o parole or death (assuming he's guilty, of course). I think that's quite a lot of justice for the unborn baby.

I am thinking that he's more of a Wally Cox than a Ron Howard.

I never heard of this guy before but he sounds like a real skunk. I'm glad they got him.

That's frickin' horrid. How does somebody shoot a little kid? That's evil that I'll never understand.
To: Excuse_My_Bellicosity
Fret not. He won't last long in the joint. Baby killers are the lowest of the low. Evil this vile will have their day.
