Well Ohio's offense certainly didn't do jack either. Their defense won it for them. But, as someone who knows a ton about football, if the refs had not made that interference call, not one person would have objected. It was a bad call, plain and simple.

It cost Miami because they went from emotional high to emotional low. They let the call take their momentum. And that's why they lost. Heck, the Giants won this past weekend with 4+ turnovers, so I don't buy the turnovers. I *would* if OS had capitalized and scored on every one of them. But they didn't.

Oh well. I am happy for OSU either way.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one Princess.

One call, bad or good......and it was holding, not interference and a good call....did not make that game, one way or the other.

Ohio's front four had Dorsey off balance the whole game. OSU's passing game was non-extant.

It was a very even game (except for turnovers), with a few bad calls going both ways, and in the end, Ohio State won because they stopped Miami on a beautiful goal line stand, when Miami had to score to win.

If ever there was a legitimate end to a great game, it was this one. And when you consider that all the 'experts' said OSU didn't even deserve to be IN the game, the victory was even sweeter. Miami has better players, but OSU had the better team, and more grit.

The last time OSU had a National Championship was when I was 18 years old, and Neil Armstrong (from OHIO) had not yet walked on the moon.

This was a sweet, sweet victory, and absolutely, completely deserved.

I'll forgive you for your lack of judgement on this one, though, since I agree with you about almost everything else! :o)
