President Bush headed to Ft. Hood, Texas today to rally and to thank the many troops who serve from their home base. Bush used the opportunity to tout the military spending bill, as well as to once again assure all that we will win the war on terror. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

To: patriciaruth
Fine....., or the same? Yeah, the same.
How's about you???????
To: Brad's Gramma
hello ?
hello ?
HELLO ?
Did you have a nice time in AZ ?
To: ohioWfan
Well Ohio's offense certainly didn't do jack either. Their defense won it for them. But, as someone who knows a ton about football, if the refs had not made that interference call, not one person would have objected. It was a bad call, plain and simple.
It cost Miami because they went from emotional high to emotional low. They let the call take their momentum. And that's why they lost. Heck, the Giants won this past weekend with 4+ turnovers, so I don't buy the turnovers. I *would* if OS had capitalized and scored on every one of them. But they didn't.
Oh well. I am happy for OSU either way.

An absolutely wonderful time, thanks. I married into some "real class". And I mean that. They're ALL wonderful people.

We had a quiet but very nice Christmas and New Year's. I love looking at the Christmas tree. Sigh. Got to think about taking it down soon.
How's Brad's Grampa?
To: Brad's Gramma
Shirley you can't be serious.
To: patriciaruth
Do I HAVE to answer that????? Huh???? Really?????????????
Actually, he seems fine. Sorta testy, but then living with me can't be all that easy.
And the poor Christmas tree is probably going to come down tomorrow, too. I HATE that. I LOVE getting the house back in order, but hate taking down the tree.

Shirley you can't be serious. FreepersUP! Didja see this????? Great. Now I'm gonna be dubbed Shirley.
To: Brad's Gramma
Good for you. That inlaw thing can darn near make or break a marriage. A bit of an exaggeration...
Bad news- I ate all of the burnt popcorn.
And where's that prissy little princess... hmmm ? snicker snicker snicker (all the time I'm looking over my shoulder)
To: freepersup; MJY1288
She's watching. Always watching. It's kinda scarey, actually.
MIKE! :-) :-)
And now, I'm outta here. Guess I'll go crawl in the suitcase too?????? Nite all!!!!
To: Brad's Gramma
All the Shirley's I've known have been real stand up ladies. Back on your feet !
To: freepersup
Help.
I've fallen.
And.......
Nite. Have fun!!!!!

Our family tradition is to leave the tree up until Epiphany, the Feast of the Magi, when the Wisemen came. That's the Twelfth Day of Christmas, which is Monday this year.
It's a great excuse for procrastinating, but it also means you can't forget to water the tree every day if you don't want the house to burn down.
