Obscene Clone Falls: Who Made Who?

The negative reaction to human cloning has been so intense and so rapid, so driven by the mass media that I have noticed that the majority has already resolved that Clonaid’s claims of a cloned female are fraudulent.

Unfortunately the ambush journalism that exists in the mainstream media has not given us a reason to even realize that there are some new revelations about Cloning if we just listen. Tonight we ask that you put your prejudice aside and listen to a representative of Clonaid, the group who claims to have cloned the first human being.

This Friday Ground Zero welcomes Marc Letourneau spokesman for Clonaid and member of the Raelian movement.

The press decided, as they often do, that the only good story is a negative story. Their focus is on the extraterrestrial beliefs of Rael and his group known as the Raelian movement. His beliefs are a surprise to the mainstream press, but these beliefs have been talked about in UFO groups, and on talk shows for years.

The mainstream media fails to point out that cloning and cloning technologies have been successful for at least 50 years and that the Telomere problems have been solved and patented.

Would Christopher Reeve SINCERELY turn down the chance for a new body cloned from himself which could potentially house his memories and consciousness? Shouldn't he get the chance to decide for himself? What if we can clone a human NOT to have the parts of the brain associated with sophisticated human thought? Then Christopher Reeve's memory lobes could theoretically be transferred to the new, more primitive version of his brain in the walking version of himself.

ok i will stop and think....OK THESE GUYS ARE FRAUDS. sorry for shouting.

Raelians? FRAUDS? Ah, c'mon now, what makes ya think that?....

folks, nobody knows for sure whether these people HAVE cloned anyone. all that most people do is ridicule them, based on beliefs that cannot be proven, at least as of yet.

if it comes out that they did clone a human, there will be a lot of belief systems threatened.

that is the real cause for those who resort to ridicule and ad hominem.

what if they do turn out to have cloned a human. They were right, and the others were wrong. Then, what about their other claims? They will then be 1 for 1 in the claim dept, whereas the doubters will be 0 for one.

this will be really interesting if it comes to be a reality.
