Walter Williams did an excellent job of filling in this time. In the past I've been at times critical of his guest hosting, but this time was awesome.

Hey Rush, check into Chris Baker of KPRC in Houston for a future guest host. The guy is a solid conservative and incredibly funny, easily the best host in Texas(Greg Knapp of KLIF in Dallas is pretty darn good, too.)

Did the Chris Baker you're talking about come there from Kansas City? We had a Chris Baker here until about...early 2001 or so.

"Chris Baker in Houston..."

One of the best conservative talkers in Texas is Carl Wiglesworth, ktsa, San Antonio. IMHO.

Another Chris Baker fan! I try to catch him whenever I am in Houston and agree with you. Have also seen him a few times paired with a lib, on some of the cable shows and he is as informed and funny on tv, as on radio.I hope he goes national some day.

Baker was a rude, loud mouth jerk when he was in Kansas City. And he was no conservative. Hope he stays down there.
