This record is all the more disturbing because more than a year after the anthrax was let loose through the mail, U.S. authorities have made no arrests.

Relying purely on hope that Saddam has not positioned 100# (or 1,000#) of anthrax in the USA in cached crates of glass jars is worse than the Ango French armies relying purely on hope that the Nazis could not attack through the Ardennes.
