Neither Hillary herself, or her academic achievments and accolades, were ever good enough for her rigid and unloving father. He thought education wasted on a woman. He died before she became first female so he never did get to see her in the WH. I think she is still looking for his approval and love. That is why she had to be superior to all the men in her life, and how billy became President.

I have always wondered how much of that is true and how much of it may be Hillary's perception. He may have been a great guy who his wife resented because she "missed out on fulfilling herself". A wife can do a lot of damage.

Hugh Rodham did provide Hillary with everything a girl would need to be successful. In all the writings about Hillary, I never once read anything about her being grateful to her dad for paying for her college. All we hear is that he was a grump. He was also a Republican.

This is a picture of Hillary when Hugh Rodham was paying for her college, when she herself was a card carrying Republican, before the liberal lesbians got a hold of her:

Hugh Rodham died while the Clintons were in office. The funeral was in Scranton and it was a big deal locally to have the President & 1st Lady in town.
