AAAAAAAAAGH!! If you knew the storm that's been raging in this room the past several minutes.....it's not been pretty! I want so badly to be able to go to D.C. on Jan. 18th I can't stand it. The fact that this man even thinks that he and the the others in his group would have to stand "ALONE AGAIN" just rips my heart to pieces! Every single person who's ever done anything to make our veterans feel alone or forgotten should be ashamed of themselves! Without our military, they wouldn't be enjoying the freedoms they have in this country. I say "they" because I refuse to put myself in the same category as them. Their treatment of our vets when they came home, and of our military now deployed, has always disgusted me and continues to do so.

Sorry about the rant but this has been a sore spot for a looooooong time. I've NEVER FORGOTTEN and I NEVER WILL! I have the utmost respect and gratitude to our veterans and active-duty personnel. If there is any way I can get away from here that weekend, I'll be in D.C. to stand beside these vets!

All of the veterans of that conflict remember the vitriolic welcome home, and the discrimination against them, and the name calling and vile shunning from much of the very people they fought so bravely for.

I was once confronted with a couple of these people(?) at a party. After a couple of mins. of them telling me how bad a person I was I asked them if they were pacifists, they said yes. Great because 1) I'M NOT!
2) Uncle Sam has spent thousands of dollars teaching me how to hurt people REAL BAD!! Now go away before I show you how good I am.
The look on their face....priceless.
