Hi radu. Thanks. By noon today I think all was well. Feeling A-OK now.

Glad to hear you're feeling better today...er, tonight.
Our poor ms. feather is sick tonight and I've crippled myself up.
Ain't we a group? LOL!!
We've got to take better care of ourselves for the troops' sake! :-D

Thanks for this rendition of "God Bless America".

"My Heart On The Line"
Thank you for posting this today. It's excellent!
The sad part is that there are still folks out there who never take the time to "notice" who's defending them and this country. They should be ashamed.

You don't know how badly I'd love to be in D.C. next month but have you ever tried to find a "critter sitter" who's willing to take care of 39 cats? LOL! That's why I make no guarantees, but I'm gonna try.
It's marked on the calendar and if I can't make it up there, I'll certainly be thinking about everyone who's there that day. I hope there's a great turnout.

To: Shermy
Thanks, Shermy, for the link to the story of action taken by one of our US Marines.

All of the veterans of that conflict remember the vitriolic welcome home, and the discrimination against them, and the name calling and vile shunning from much of the very people they fought so bravely for. My ex-husband was one who got that treatment. My time married to him and living at Camp LeJeune is where I learned to respect and be thankful to our military men and women.
I love your response to those people who gave you a bit of grief at the party. I would love to have seen the looks on their faces. Priceless, you say? hehehehe! Goooood!

Whew! I was really hoping I'd be able to check out the entire thread but I believe I'm going to have to lay back down. I hurt my back more than I realized getting that big box off the top shelf at Wally World. I've got pinched nerves zinging all over my body right now and it's difficult to even type. Dopey me!!! I never should have done that.
Good night Kathy. Sleep well tonight. God bless ya for all you do in support of our troops.
Good night to all who come to the Canteen to show your support and respect for those who have served and those who are serving now.
Good night to our troops and allies, wherever you may be. May God watch over you and keep you safe!

radu, what is becoming of us?

This will require a hospital ward if we are not careful. I hope you didn't hurt your back again.
To: radu
Radu, please take good care of your back. Ice, heat? Whatever helps, do it a bunch! God bless you good for all your support of our military, past and present.
To: PhilDragoo
Thanks, Phil, for you everyday support of our military. And Ted.

Marine ping.
To: Kathy in Alaska
I left this on while I dealt with the critters' needs before lying down, and heard the "pinger". I'm movin' kinda slow right now. I'm such a dummy to get that heavy box down myself. But no one answered the page and I wanted that jungle gym
right now and got it. I'm paying for it now! LOL
Alternate heat/cold will hopefully help get things straightened out soon (crossed fingers!). It does seem like we'll need a hospital ward around here, doesn't it? chuckle
See you tomorrow, with luck. Good night again. I'm outta here while I can still walk to the bedroom.
