I totally agree with you.

If a person is deep enough in their faith, and they are connected with their own soul, then they are able to look in the eyes of others and see their soul as well.

We did this great "bonding" activity when I was at a student council camp. We were in a very large room, and everyone stood next to each other and made two circles. The two circles stood facing each other and for about a minute or two we looked into the eyes of the person across from us. We did this to each and every person in the room (there were at least 200 people). It was the most moving experience that I have ever felt. I only knew four other people in that room so everyone else was a complete stranger. But by looking into someone else's eyes you can learn so much. Some people just brought me to tears by the goodness in them. Others didn't have to much of an effect. I remember one of the council leaders, an older black woman, I looked into her eyes, and I was overcome with warmth, kindness, and just pure joy. I could tell she was a nuturing type. This activity brought us all together and made us all feel connected to each other. It was extremely powerful.
