One secondary aspect of this episode was, however, based on a true case. At one point, the jailed white supremacist, who has been forbidden from all contact with the outside world, except for his defense attorney (Tovah Feldshuh), uses her as an unwitting conduit to pass along the address of someone he has targeted for murder to an associate, who carries out the killing. However, Dick Wolf's creative team made a slight adjustment in the story. The subplot was based not on a white supremacist, but on the case of radical attorney, Lynne Stewart. Stewart has been arrested and charged with deliberately passing along instructions from one of her clients, Islamic terrorist Sheik Abdul Rahman, who was convicted of masterminding the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, to his confederates. Stewart was taped laughing about what she was doing.

There's another inaccuracy there, too. Anyone who knows anything about Lynne Stewart knows that Tovah Feldshuh is way too gorgeous to play a character based on the rotund and unfashionable Stewart.

THe lies, damn lies and genuine horsehit churned out by the multimillionaires passing themselves off as starving art for art's sake, self proclaimed artists of today, challenges the claim to credibility that artists throughout the pages of history, claimed as their due. When we are fed what we recognize as fantasy by the art community and government of our time and expected to accept it as fact-we are challenged to question the entire history of art and discredit the pretense that it ever merited any support whatsoever from the taxes extorted from the wages of those who produced a service or product essential to the survival of humanity.

It is not bigotry to recognize that a majority of crime is committed by the black males of the minority-only the incurably insane would rant against the fact that the prisons are over ran with inmates of the minority that commits the majority of crime. Sorry if defending the truth against the fairytales of politically correct Hollywood sounds raciest, but that just shows you the power of those who earn their obscene wages in the pursuit of convincing the good that evil is better.

I guess I'll have to make a little note to be added to my local NBC station's Public Inspection file, to be considered as to whether the stations broadcastrs are *in the public goood* when their licence renerwal time comes around again.

Besides, that'll give me a chance to pull the info on who the local sponsors of that program are hereabouts. I wonder if they know what they've been buying with their advertising budget. Well, they will.

If a white perpetrator was portrayed as black on a TV series (like L & O), a lawsuit would probably be filed against Wolf and Co. for defamation by the NAACP and their allies. Is there an attorney out there willing to do the same for an organization like European-American Issues Forum (I think that's the name of a anti-defamation group for whites)? It high time leftist elites like Wolf are called to account in court for their actions.

Just to note. In a law and order episode that was based on the Puerto Rican day parade, there was a large amount of controversy. People were screaming for Dick Wolf's head, he has since promised that it will never be aired, not even in reruns of syndication. He has also gotten in trouble for a couple of episodes of Law and Order criminal intent for making the African American ADA look "disrespected by the white officers," "sleazy" and "out of the loop." Its clear that Dick Wolf is liberal, but its also clear that left wing and liberal groups are more poised to protest any slight whether real or not that they perceive. He is responding in the most politically correct and safest way. When law and order portrays pro-lifers as "kooks" (which, every single episode dealing with abortion has done). There is no outcry, there is no protest, anything that trashes conservatives is generally left alone without much expressed anger or protest. However this does not apply to liberals. Maybe Wolf feels that conservatives have thicker skin, or that liberals are just overly sensitive. Either way, he is always going to play it safe and not risk offending the more vocal and sensitive groups.

I've found the solution to the biased interpretations of actual events, such as those portrayed in this article:

I don't watch television anymore (except for The Weather Channel and old movies through the VCR).

Similarly, I don't go to the movies anymore. Haven't been inside a movie theater in years. Again, I prefer older films, and either view them from my home archives, or rent one if need be.

Since there is relatively little that can be done to counter the left-wing media and art-content creators, perhaps the only thing left to do is to _ignore them_ .

I watch L&O primarily for Jerry Orbach, who's one of my favorite actors. Most of the time I enjoy the show, but I have also noticed the PC nonsense that crops up when it comes to race. The examples cited in the article were bad, but I have one that's even worse. This episode was based on the real-life murder of a Chinese food deliveryman by a group of black teenagers. They got together in an abandoned building, used a cell phone to place an order even though they knew they had no money to pay for the food, then set upon the Chinese man when he made the delivery. They brutally beat him to death and robbed him. It really was a shocking case.

Well, Law & Order adapted this crime for an episode that aired a couple of seasons ago, and they were faithful to the details of the real crime except in one area: the murderous gang of teens ended up being white. And there was one more nasty little surprise in store -- the ringleader of the group was named Reagan! He ended up receiving the death sentence (none of the real-life perpetrators did, BTW). A PC victory all around.

I thought all TV was "stupid white men"? Shows like Home Improvement have been in reruns for a while now. Heck I never saw the originals. Same goes for Friends, etc.

S.C.T.V. was a whole lot more entertaining than todays P.C.T.V.

In the L & O version, the black suspects who were slated to be up for the death penalty for the killings, turned out to be innocent. The killer was white.

This guy needs to get his facts straight. I SAW this episode. The real killer was ALSO black, he was collared at the very end of the episode, he was a huge black man on a sofa when the cops busted in.

What a crock. L&O may have some liberal bias, but then what Hollywood show doesn't. It's one of the best shows out there, in terms of quality. And this specific complaint is total BS. The writer should learn how to do a basic cite-check before spouting off about it.
