Hate to see ya go.... buh-bye....
jeez who'd a thunk that "economic" reasons would be a reason to fire somebody.
I wish that the next Rather, Brokaw, Jennings contract deadline comes and the networks let him go... then put in a "local" newsreader at 1000th the salary. Once they see that any chump can do the job that can carry a big market local broadcast... well then we won't have to worry about single issue liberal reporters...
They'll all be multi issue liberal reporters. hahahahahahha and their market share will drop even more. Now if we could only get the lawyers to sue each other....hmmmmm.....

Liberal "caring" Media: FIRE PEOPLE ON CHRISTMAS.

The way CNN is going, they probably can run those Police Chase-TV shows that they show during Braves rain delays or reruns of the Andy Griffith Show in place of some of their prime-time news broadcasts and get the same ratings they are getting now.
I think both CNN and PMSNBC don't understand why people have clicked them off en masse for the Fox News Channel and any changes they make right now are too little too late. Firing staff during the holidays is not going to make matters any better (or probably any worse for that matter). Putting an end to the left-wing slant might.

yep ... I was thinking the same thing ... seems the spirit of antichrist Ted Turner is still alive at CNN even though he's not at the helm ... seems like they did it on purpose for a little extra kick ...
of course there is still Rudi ... sigh ... she's more than a pretty face ... very professional ... maybe she'll jump to FOX News! hehe ...

Too bad CNN won't become the Christian News Network. What a feather that would be in conservatives' cap! hehehe

They must not have been young and pretty enough anymore.
Shhhh! What's that sound? Resumes being mailed to FOX News!

Compassionate Liberalism. Mr. Potato Head would have a better chance as the new talking head spinning their garbage. It's the propaganda stupid.

What did they do, say "Thank you, Jesus?"

Dropping a bombshell on your loyal subjects on Christmas. I can't believe they actually found a way to climb lower on my scale. "Economic Reasons"???????? I guess Iraq cut back on the propaganda machine after they failed to stop the President on his recent wins.

''Given the extremely busy and productive year I had, I was shocked and very disappointed to get this news,'' Potter said. Productive!? Productive!!!?....Hey Potter! Get a clue! You don't 'produce' anything! You are a talking head and nothing more. Now go out and get a real job and try helping the economy.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Here is CNN's message to its reporters:
"MERRY CHRISTMAS-----YOU'RE FIRED!"

``They're getting rid of anybody whose contract is up who is not a superstar anchor or a 25-year-old willing to be paid in Canadian dollars.'' Gee. Just like every other company in the US. Welcome to the real world, newsies.

Do they ever fire women?

Frank was too smart for CNN anyway. I'd bet he'd be right at home on CNBC.
