The story goes that some time ago a mother punished her 5 year old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and she became even more upset when the child pasted the gold paper so as to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.

Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box to her mother the next morning and said, "This is for you, Momma."....(snip)

I've heard of "chick movies," but this post promts me to coin a new phrase: "Chick story"

It's cute, cuddly, and my wife would love it! I find it an interesting experiment in human emotional behavior.

'Course, I'm just a guy.

You don't have to go macho and pretend! The moral of that story is one that touches our hearts, it's a story of love. Merry Christmas to all of you Freepers. You've become very important to me, and I'm thankful for each one of you.

Like I said, Ma'am, it's a "chick story."

It does touch the heart to a degree - just less in men than in women. Heck, I even cry at movies, or when a guy gets his rig back in a CW song.

Oh, and Merry Christmas to you as well!!!

Merry Christmas to you WaterDragon and to all the Freepers that I read and appreciate. What a wealth of solid citizens, information, encouragement, and political knowledge above the average (liberal) American.

Sometimes I need to read FR and other times I'm so weary of the state of affairs and politics I'm ready to drop out. But, eventually I return.

So, MERRY CHRISTMAS and let's start all over next year!!

Yes, you did. Forgiveness and repentance.

Merry Christmas.
