Merry Christmas to you, too Gramma!! (Thanks for your words of encouragement!)

See? I TOLD you Santa's real!!!!!!
To: MrsEmmaPeel
Welcome. Great Site. My 9 year old was asking tough questions last year about Santa. I showed him the site and explained NORAD. He said, "Santa must be real because the government wouldn't lie." Mom made me sit him down and have a heart-to-heart talk about the Clinton administration. Merry Christmas.

Congratulations, Mrs. Peel. Ho! Ho! Ho!

Explaining the Clinton Administration to a 9 year old??!! Goodness, what a daunting task! I hope the explanation was rated PG-13!
MERRY CHRISTMAS
To: MrsEmmaPeel
Bravo Emma! Thanks for the reminder.
I've got 3 kids (8,5,2) driving me nuts! This should keep them sidetracked for a while (I hope).

When I was a little girl , I frequently drove my mother nuts. She was happiest on the days when there was a Saturn V launch of some mission or another. She convinced me that my greatest job was to simply monitor the launch. So, I'd sit in front of the TV and hear "T minus 60 and holding" and would sit for hours in avid fascination. Not moving, not fidgeting, because I knew that the launch was imminent. Mother was very happy.
And then I learned to tell time ...

Bump, bump and bump again!
Merry Christmas ya'll!

Welcome to Free Republic, Mrs. Peel. You're needed!
To: JennysCool
Aw, gee, thanks! I've been a lurker for some time. I find this is a nice place to hand my hat. (metaphorically speaking, of course!)
Merry Christmas!

Love your graphic! I first heard about noradsanta.org from TechTV. Those people who say that Santa doesn't exist are probably the same ones that say that Republicans are mean spirited!

All those Dems in DC won't need to worry about their heating bill this winter with all the coal they are going to get.
