I find your remarks, you attitudes and your stupid red map extremely offensive. How long do you think people will remain "dumbed up" with respect to your old-white-men racist crap. Why not publish a map by population rather than by acreage? That is how VOTING operates. I am sure you know this, but it is another distortion coming from you and your kind. You and the Republicans have had a dirty little secret for two generations...they have courted your votes, but would not be caught in the same room with you at the White House or the ranch in Crawford. You have provided the votes, they have pretended that you don't exist. What you see now is their TRUE appreciation for your efforts in getting them elected, ie. they are ashamed and embarassed to be caught in your bed.

It is really too bad the south didn't win the civil war. We in the north woud be thrilled to be free from your outdated rhetoric, the blackeye you give this country in the eyes of the rest of the world, and most of all your financial dependence on us. For every dollar we here in Minnesota are contributing to federal aid to states, we are getting back 70-some cents. The rest is going to the parasitic southern states. Yet, they are the ones who are printing the stupid misleading maps and screaming about high taxes. What a pack of hypocrites you all are.

Your chickens have come home to roost, the Republican party can't move fast enough to disavow their connection to you. Wake up and smell the coffee. Your time is past.

Dear Mary Golden,

Permit me to respond to your comments point by point, as it seems you are clearly misinformed on life.

As for the 'map' you speak of, slide your mouse over and give it a click. You'll see a larger map that in fact DOES give the voting totals. Now, I don't mean to rehash 2000, but there is this thing called the 'electoral college'. As you say, "That is how VOTING operates", according to our Constitution (you really should read it, Mary). But here's the statement you made that actually had me on the floor laughing:

"...they have courted your votes, but would not be caught in the same room with you at the White House or the ranch in Crawford."

I hope you're sitting down for this, but I've seen both photos and press conferences of the National Security Advisor and the Secretary of State from that Crawford Ranch. Condelezza Rice and Colin Powell are (guess what) black. Do I need mention that Clarence Thomas has also been at that ranch in the past?

Now let's see: How many minorities did the previous White House occupant court to his "Ranch"? I can only think of one - some young Jewish girl - but oh yes, that was under his desk at the Oval Office wasn't it? (NOTE: virtually every black person Clinton appointed during his eight-year term was run out of office in short order)

Now, this was another gut buster: "...For every dollar we here in Minnesota are contributing to federal aid to states, we are getting back 70-some cents. The rest is going to the parasitic southern states."

Look lady: I live in Nevada but my roots are in the South. But speaking for my Southern Brothers, (even if it was true) you can keep the damn 30 cents if it means giving states back their sovereignty. And the last time I checked, most of the federal budget is still supporting failed socialist type programs that left-wing states like Minnesota keep pushing through Congress. However, now that there is a Republican senator in your state (yes, grind your teeth on that), things may change where you may, in fact, get some of your 30 cents back; forcing you to come up with something else to bitch at me about.

And "parasitic southern states"?? When's the last time you heard of domestic and foreign capital wanting to build factories in your state? Time and time again, they choose Dixie. Seems they like the quality of the work force better. And since the South losing the war meant maintaining control of over 15 warm water ports, I think you should lighten up a bit - unless you wouldn't mind not benefiting from any of that.

And tell you what, since the South seems to tick you off so much, we'll give you CNN.

You see, Mary - your chickens came home to roost on election-day, 2002. No one fell from the sham-memorial you folks had for that socialist senator (among the ones who instituted those failed federal program). For that reason - your party STILL doesn't run the U.S. Senate.

Deal with it.

Sincerely,
J.J. Johnson

Maybe if it is said often enough, particularly by blacks who get it, it will start to sink in and the brainwashed black sheeple will finally abandon the democrat plantation.

More noise from the Liberal Blue Enclaves on the Electoral Map. These are very bad times for the Democrats and they are striking out in desperation. Their support for the Clinton Stain and Stench is coming home to roost.

Telling the truth about scoundrels - what a guy. I'm looking forward to the first Latino J.J. - or Thomas Sowell, or Williams, or Steele, or Innis, or McWhorter.

J.J. Johnson has some great articles but my favorite is still his response to Jesse Jackassson written back in 2000. Brilliant!
