HUME: I want to ask you both about, sort of on the broader subject of the war on terrorism, comments made this week by your Senate colleague, Patty Murray of Washington, who is of course a member of the Democratic leadership.

Patty is a Moron but it will not help the conservative cause to dwell on her idiocy.
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
Patty Murray has decided not to apologize, but rather to hide behind her spokesperson and blame the "vast rightwing conspiracy" for reporting her offensive remarks.
Brit failed to ask Biden how Murray could tout Bin Laden for starting schools and day care centers. We all know what kind of schools Bin Laden started and day care centers aren't needed in a country where men have multiple wives, and women are not permitted to work outside the home.
Also, Brit should have pointed out that it was extremely egregious that Murray addressed her statements to impressionable high school students at the same time that the federal government was busy shutting down one of these terrorist funding networks in Murray's own district.

The upside to a campaign against this stupid woman is Conservatives will have driven another Demo moron from office. The downside is that the Dems will probably run a smarter candidate to replace her (if that were possible).
Every picture I've seen of her looks like she's on heavy medication. Does anyone know anything about that?

The GOP should point out that attitudes like Murray's are the peopel voted Republican. Deep down most independants (and "moderate" democrats)had a suspicion that the Dem elites felt this way. That combined with the fact that we are facing real danger in the world made most people feel that we can't afford to have people like Murray have a possible deciding vote on national security issues.
The Dems claim that people were 'scared" into voting for the GOP. The question they should have been asking themselves is why the people don't trust the Dems on vital matters of national security. Patty Murray is one reason why.

I don't believe that the issue resonates with swing voters in Washington State and the GOP is endanger of being labeled as bullies for picking on a dumb women.

And so, it's hard for those people in those areas to distinguish between propaganda and mind-bending, you know, propaganda and generosity. So why is Sen. Murray spreading this same propaganda here to high school students?
Lott was beat up by the media and pushed out of power because he praised a colleague who ran for president as a segregationist. Murray is being given a pass for praising a man who build and financed a terrorist network that has killed thousands of innocent Americans. Lott's actions were insensitive. Murray's actions were offensive.

I remember hearing a while back that Murray had severe financial problems due to the burst of the "bubble" and the fact that all of her money went "poof" due to 100% hi tech holdings. Hillary?? and others had a fundraiser to help her get back on her feet. Does anyone know any more about this?

The Democrats: Okay to Praise Osama bin Laden, NOT Okay to Praise 100 Year-old Man
Democrat Senator Patsy "mom in tennis shoes" Murray has announced that we can learn a lot from bin Laden. We should study why he is so popular amongst Arabs. So, would it be okay to ask why Strom Thurmond was so popular in the South in the 40's? Should we study this?
I am sure that with her praise of bin Laden, Murray will become the new Democrat hero. Personally, I think it disgusting.
So in closing, I ask you... which of the following two men do you consider more dangerous? To be more evil? To be a bigger threat to our civilization?
THIS MAN:

OR THIS MAN

The Democrats have already given us their answer.

There is no chance to drive her out of office.
She might be on antidepressants but that will just aid her victimology among the liberals who elected her. It could also be that an extremely slow mind shows on the face whether it is natural or drug induced.
To: davisdoug
I believe that was the other Washington Senator, Maria Cantwell.

As I predicted earlier, this would be glossed over. Democrats are held to a different standard, now and for always. Republicans are and will always be the " Great Satan " in the eyes of the media. We must continue our struggle to enlighten the good people of this nation to republican values.

BIDEN: Well, knowing Patty, I know she didn't mean it the way that came out.A ringing endorsement of a colleague's competency if I've ever heard one.
My understanding is that she didn't qualify her remarks until after they raised some eyebrows. (As if Jim McDermott didn't embarrass those of us who live in Washington state enough.)
Ugh. I feel like getting in my car and driving east for about three days.

You're right. All Murray owns is a pair of Keds.

Should we allow them a pass?
How absurd... any pass on anything is a win for them.
