Bill Frist has an 85 percent conservative rating. And he never chastised Henry Hyde for "dumping this GARBAGE (IMPEACHMENT OF clinton) on his doorstep". Even though he may not be perfect for Gary Bauer, he's a huge improvement over the self-centered, party-destroying Trent Lott.

Each republican should applaud Sen. Lott for his decision to stay in the senate. He took one for the party in order for the conservative agenda to go forward in the next Congress. It wasn't fair (it never is with hypocritical RATS!) but we have to keep focused. The left will never die. They supported the Sandinistas and the communists against Reagan. They support the wanton destruction of preborn life against the sanctity of life. They supported perjury against the rule of law. The struggle must go on. Thank you Sen. Lott that you ultimately put country and party above personal hurt!

Bill Frist has an 85 percent conservative rating.

Lott had a 93% ACU rating.

But I'm still waxing hopeful.

Bill Frist ain't as conservative as Lott was so that is all that matters to me (and I didn't think too much of Lott in the first place).

Bill Frist has an 85 percent conservative rating.

Bill Frist is rated with a "D" on upholding the Creator endowed rights affirmed in the Second Amendment to the Constitution by Gun Owners of America (GOA)

Bill Frist is a "conservative"???

We have a far less conservative GOP Senate today than we had in January 2001. Gone are Phil Gramm, Jesse Helms and Bob Smith.

I just want the leader of the senate to stop bending over everytime Daschle walks down the isle.
