Clooney Slams Bush
Internet Movie Database ^ | December 19, 2002

Posted on 12/18/2002 10:32:40 PM PST by Paul Atreides

Hollywood hunk George Clooney has launched a scathing attack on American President George W. Bush - labeling him "dim." The Out Of Sight star is furious that Bush junior doesn't exhibit any natural leadership skills. He says, "Let's face it. Bush is just dim. The problem is we elected a manager, and we need a leader." And Clooney doesn't just reserve his venom for the President. He describes former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich as a "dinosaur," adding, "The man has no arms."

I have a slight different point of view. The original Russian version, low budget, hard core emotional value version was very good.

I am waiting to see the current version and how it measures up.

George's rise to fame came by looking pretty for the ladies and pretending to be a doctor for children.

"Such a stellar career."

Yes, an impressive heap o' dung...

(Holding nose) I wasn't aware that Clooney's career had produced so much methane.

Even the Clinton Party has, for the most part, dropped the old "Bush is dumb" line of attack.

If I remember correctly, it took at least a couple of years for the Dims to drop their similiar accusations against Reagan. By the time the Gipper beat Mondale 49 states to 1 in the '84 re-election, such talk had stopped completely.

Clooney must pine for Hitler or Stalin if wants a leader that badly.

I must add that I'm no big fan of Bush's but to label him as "dim" is just, well, beyond dim.

I know that I will always listen to criticism of the President by someone who was in Attack of The Killer Tomatoes.

Don't bother. It's crap, in no small measure owing to Clooney's pitifully shallow performance.

The only movie I liked that Georgia was in was that one with the big waves. He sucked, but the waves were good.

Psssssst...John...Is your grandfather Yogi Berra, by chance?

I was borrowing a George W. Bushism. 'Misunderestimate' is one of his word manglings that's stuck with me. That and 'strategery'.

289 Million Americans Avoid Peace Rallies
(2003-01-19) -- Police across the nation estimate the crowd that avoided yesterday's anti-war demonstrations at about 289 million. Americans from coast-to-coast voted in absentia against criticizing the Bush administration for Iraq's failure to comply with U.N. resolutions.

Anti-anti-war demonstrators gathered in grocery stores, shopping malls and private homes to proclaim their disagreement with protestors marching in the streets of Washington D.C. and San Francisco.

"Going about my regular Saturday routine is my way of saying I disagree with the radical left-wing agenda of the anti-Bush crowd," said college student Melanie Sampson, who spent the day preparing a term paper for a literature course.

Police reported no unusual problems with the droves that stayed away from the protests.

"It was a normal Saturday in America," said one Sheriff's deputy.

Hey George if we wanted your opinion we  would have put it  in the script!

I'm so sick of these pretentious narcissists  trying to inject their asinine ideas

into the public debate. Am I alone
