Wait, James L Byrd was killed in Jasper in that white supremesist dragging. How can he be in jail?

It's a coincidence. There is also a Texan named James Byrd, whom this guy has been championing, who was apparently convicted and imprisoned for a robbery his brother committed. That is, if this columnist, who has a credibility problem, is telling the truth. A little independent corroboration would be nice.
