The truth came out years ago. Only one fruitcake was ever made and the same one gets passed from family to family across the generations. We used ours to hold the barn door shut when we penned the animals up at night.
The cow manure washed right off and didn't seem to hurt the fruitcake any. We mailed it the next family, as we knew we should.

Geologists have long recognized that fruitcake is an igneous rock, similar to granite.

Hey, Husker24, what's up?
Our Cornhusker's did not have a very good year, but there's always next year. I give Solich two more years. If there's not improvement, there will be a change. There's concern about some of the recruiting savvy as well.

I'm well known in my circle for being a sweets junkie. Sugar, corn syrup, candy, chocolates, if it'll make you fat I'll take two. All that being said fruitcake is one of the most disgusting things on the planet and second only to carolers for annoying holiday traditions, if I were king making fruitcake would be considered high treason. You sound like a closet fruitcake junky. You really like it, don't you? #;^)

I thought this was a thread about William Rivers Pitt.

Thanks for the reminder of this great fruitcake. Haven't had one in years and just ordered one from the website. Count me in a pro fruitcake person.

I never liked fruitcake until I developed DM. Life is funny.

Doesn't fit well on the skeet flinger, can't even shoot the stuff. Even the birds in my neighborhood don't like that crap.

So what are some good fruitcakes available in stores (not mail-order?)
To: Fury
If Solich has another season like this one, he is toast.

I'm "out": I love Christmas fruitcake. Every November we click on the Collin Street site and have several shipped to fellow members of the Fruitcake Underground.
