Check out this story about NYC's public schools. Schools Chancellor Joel Kleine actually wants to charge a mother with neglect because she refused to send her daughter to a dangerous school.

When are these school officials going to realize that a mother's desire to protect her daughter from violence is more important than any "education" she could get in one of NYC's dangerous and morally bankrupt schools?

This mother was savvy enough to contact attorney Ron Kooby who has a radio show with Curtis Sliwa on WABC to defend her.

The MAYOR is now looking for a decent school for this girl. School Chancellor Kleine probably wishes he wasn't so quick to fault the girl's mother.
