Is that the song in the commercial with Jerome Bettis of the Steelers?Yup.
Loving you
Is easy because you're beautiful....
Making love with you
Is all I want to do....
Loving you
Is more than just a dream come true....
And everything that I do
Is out of loving you....

I am thankful that G. Washington and A. Lincoln are not alive to watch this travesty of a leader. What leader? He's no leader, and he never willbe.

Hey, I don't know Lorne Michaels' politics, but he has made me laugh many times in the past 27 years. He's Canadian, which probably tells you all you need to know. In any case, I don't even know if he ever got American citizenship, but judging from the people he's hung with in this country for the last 30 years, I seriously doubt he's a conservative.

Good Lord, thats got to be one of the worst, right up there with YMCA and Debbie Boone's lethal weapon, You light up my life.

Good Lord, thats got to be one of the worst, right up there with YMCA and Debbie Boone's lethal weapon, You light up my life.Every time I hear "You Light Up My Life," I end up thinking about my 2nd grade science fair ... this would have been 1977 or '78. Some girl did her project on "How Electricity Works", and the centerpiece was a standard-issue light fixture that kept turning itself on and off, while underneath, a cheap industrial cassette player kept booming out "You Light Up My Life" over, and over, and over, and over, loudly enough to totally overpower the poor speaker and distort the hell out of it. Even then, at age 7, I realized that song was some sort of spawn of Satan.

Gore's lisping impression of Lott reminded me of Percy Dovetonsils

SNL is crap. It has been since they became successful. They aren't prepared to take chances and the talent on the show is second rate at best.
Could the Clinton years provided better material to lampoon? And, yet, not a funny moment in 10 years.
Impersonating a idiot journalist like Matthews and calling it funny, yawn.
Remember when they made fun of dictators and tyrants and whackos on the Left and Right? Someone didn't know that McDonalds is not good for you?
The skits are too long and have no punch line. When the show is written by lawyers, it's a waste of time.

Former Vice President Al Gore portrays
an apologetic Sen. Trent Lott, R-Miss.,
in a skit on Saturday Night Live.

I fell asleep on the couch. The last thing I remember was the beginning of the Lott skit and thinking, "What a stupid dork". I'm glad I missed the show. Thanks to the SNL threads, I know now that I didn't miss anything.

SNL Executive Producer Lorne Michaels and cast members attempt to revive Gore after zapping him with a stun gun in the show's opening bit.

"I meant no disrespect to any white people," insisted Gore-as-Lott. "As long as I am in office, we will leave no white person behind."

"Yeah, it just barely beats the environmentalist wacko report I saw on Educable as i was flipping through...drilling is not the answer, they said." Those enviroMENTALwackos are stupid! Grew up in Okla and live in Texas now where we will drill anywhere we find oil or gas. We always have enough power, too. If Calif. would allow more drilling, they could stop having brown outs and black outs. If they would stop re-electing morons they could stop having GRAY OUTS too!!!!!

My son likes the OLD episodes of SNL. He calls them "Saturday Night Live, the Funny Years". My 18 year old son watched last night, but my 21 year old son, my husband and I didn't watch it. Gore just makes us puke. My youngest can still laugh at the idiot! I always think how close we got to having that idiot as president and that just isn't funny!!!!!!!
