Jeez. Here are people who have families, love their country, and are headed out to G-d knows where. May I politcally incorrectly say that North Korea, China, and Syria pose greater threats? The New York Times reported on Saturday that Army units would include military police, engineers and supply specialists and that the Navy was planning to notify at least 1,000 ship cargo specialists and other port workers.

These are the guys that will move the bombs, bullets and beans for the larger group of troops to be called up later. It's sign that things are starting to happen.In Dessert Storm I, some of the first call ups were of just these sorts of folks.

I'd go, but they won't let me. Too old and broken-down. That's okay. If the action spreads it might get here and nobody will have to go anywhere to participate. Who will be in the next world war? Everybody.
