Just prior to this, FOX announced Henry Kissinger's resignation from the commission Bush appointed him to......Mitchell earlier resigned.

Nobody wants to be on that commission, especially since the families are already ripping the members.

I vote for Rudy Guiliani to replace Kissinger...I'm glad he's gone..too much baggage. And, I'm glad he let Mitchell resign first.

Why is what Trent Lott said any worse than what Robert, KKK, Byrd, said? The media didn't do this to him! Al Sharpton tried to (and almost did) ruin a man's life by accusing him of raping a black child. I NEVER heard an apology for that!

I am NO fan of Trent Lott but, this is IGNORANCE on the part of the media to keep pounding away at the man for a SIMPLE mistake. I hate the double standard!!!
