Stepping down as Majority Leader?

Hope it's only that. Doesn't MS have a Dem governor? If Lott resigns his senate seat the senate will be 50-50 again. You remember what happened the last time it was tied.

No one here wants him to resign from the Senate, just step down from the Majority leader position. There's plenty of other senators who should resign before Lott, but I think the Republicans need a better Majority leader.
