Now my pic makes no sense, and I look like a loon, LOL. I liked the easter thing better. It was an eye grabber.

I am hoping that they have found a way to make a deal with Sharpton. Well, Lott's the guy to do it, when it comes to making deals with the enemy.

Some would say that the fact that Lott is in the senate, renders it a 50-50 senate anyway. The man is too much of a "Can't we all just get along" guy for this girl. Here's hoping he steps down as ML.

I hope not. If Lott is to be replaced it should be for the right reasons. Not because the press and liberals whined. I agree. But if Lott does step down as majority leader, I hope he's replaced by somebody who make the RATS pay.

Good timing at 5:30 on a Friday. Whatever happens, it will be a non-issue by Monday.

I hope not. If Lott is to be replaced it should be for the right reasons. Not because the press and liberals whined. This IS the right reason. We all know that Lott is a disappointment b/c he has a history of allowing the Dems to outmaneuver him at every turn (Remember the 50 50 powersharing agreement?).
However, we can get him to step down as SML over THIS and turn it to our advantage, demonstrating that there is no place for bigots in the GOP.
We can even point out that we, unlike the Dems and Robert Byrd, REBUKE the racist past of some of our own.
Lott can stay on as a member of the Senate, keeping the majority, and we can say he was punished.

he needs to grow some cojones for once, and give a firm and complete explanation of what he DID mean with that statement. He needs to omit the, "I am the son of a sharecropper" garbage as he did in his first apology attempt on Hannity's radio show. I don't think he is capable of opening his mouth without inserting his foot at this point.

We have to wait until 5:30 on Easter before he deals with this? Man... it's gonna be a long winter... ;0) Perhaps he meant Easter (Island) Standard Time (Same as Central Standard Time).

I also believe he will not be stepping down. If he doesn't, he better make sure he has a "damn" good press conference and set the record straight once and for all. Anything less would be detrimental to himself and would continue to linger with the Republican party.

Lott is going to reveal/discuss the new surgical procedures used in getting a pair of size 10 cowboy boots removed from his butt.......

"O.K. Who do we want to see as the next Senate majority leader? Frist? McConnell?" Don Nichols (OK) would be better!

What if Sharpton... Then in that case you better run out and buy a Powerball ticket, because this is your day to win on an improbable gazillion-to-one long shot.

NOW's comments about Lott just prove the old adage that even a broken clock has the correct time twice a day. ;-)
All I want for Christmas is Mitch McConnell as Majority Leader. ;-)

LOL !

No doubt, he will "set the record staright"
Which he's had the time to do, but for whatever reason, hasn't.
Too little, too late to gain credibility IMHO.
Lott is a millstone around our necks. The Republican Party will cut him loose or sink with him.

If folks look close enough (the body of the text), my boo-boo is still there.

Hey, understand that Sharpton is all about making a deal to increase his visibility. There are valid reasons to help him out. See my vanity post about this subject.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
