The announcement shows how far this society is from being able to resist aggression successfully. Those Scuds will be used against U.S. troops, probably within 90 days.

Are we out of our f*cking MINDS?

OK.. But what are we going to learn from dropping them overboard, or as someone suggesting filling the hull with water? I think it's a safe assumption that this clandestine operation has been going on for some time. Maybe it's not such a bad idea to let the missiles go, and watch to see where they end up.

It's not exactly as if they can conceal their destination from our eyes in the sky.

I agree that water should be added to the hold. Maybe while our guys were putting the tracking devices on the ship, and dismantling the war heads, they accidently poked holes in the side of the ship. Sometimes we can be uncoordinated.....

Is it really that hard to figure out?? More wasted money and more wasted time, and possibly more lives ssacrificed.

Is what really hard to figure out? The eventual destination for the missiles.. OK smart guy.. Where was their eventual destination? Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Yemen?

I guess I'm a mind numbed "Bush-bot" then, because this is IMO exactly what we should have done. It's not like a SCUD is a highly accurate ICBM these are warmed over V-2s. If Yemen used it, they could hit Saudi Arabia (if they don't miss, No harm done), and we all know they don't intend to do that. It's obvious these are going somewhere to someone else, let them deliver them. Now we get to watch, track these guys to who ever.

In one swoop we could implicate Yemen, Saudi Arabia and hold Iraq in material breach. Once the is done, FIGHTS ON!

Thanks alot Bush, I have been an avid surpporter of yours. Thanks again for showing us as a toothless tiger. They only thing that will save my view of this administration is a Full MILITARY BLOCKADE OF NORTH KOREA by the end of the week. We look like "F" fools. I expected more from this administration. They are starting to look tall on talk and short on action.

Exactly.

Locator bugs, a few alterations here and there...

Whoever uses these Scuds is only going to score some "own goals" because of a "work accident" that occurs when they TRY to use `em. At least, I hope our guys were allowed to do something nasty to the missiles.

This the same "Yemen" that harbored the U.S. Cole's bombers?

Same "Yemen" where U.S. troops were murdered just a few weeks ago?

It's also the Yemen that allows us to fly our Predator drones armed with Hellfire missles looking for cars loaded with Al Quedas and blow them to bits when it sees them.

Also, I read elsewhere the Yemen had 20 scuds at one time but used some of them in a civil war, so there's one possible answer to the questions about why they want them...they want to kill each other.

you call yourself "realpatriot"?

yes, we do my friend. where do i start? just to really generalize... suppose it was the terrorists and rogue states like iraq that had our military might. would israel and the US still EXIST? we have the goods to expand our borders and territories whenever we so choose, but has it happened? do you expect it will? you make a fool of yourself in your blatant attempt to sound thoughtful and erudite.

When the doo-doo hits the fan, these missles are going to be toasted on Yemen soil by either the Israeli's or the U.S. They will never fly.

Yah! I agree. I doubt you would need to bug them. I mean they are packed in GIANT crates. They will be easily tracked by sattelite.

Still, I'd bug `em and booby-trap one or two.

Set up a "work accident" or two. Or, while they're working on said Scuds, then Delta Force and/or Predators show up at a very inconvenient time for the terrorists.

I also read in an earlier report - although I now see no mention of it - that 85 drums of something described as "chemicals" were also found in that ship.

As someone here suggested, the ship should be returned to them containing only exactly what it says on the manifest: cement.
