That is completely wrong. Illegality is certainly consistant with these things!

Prohibition. On Day X alcohol was perfectly legal and on Day Y it was illegal and then on Day Z it was legal again. Did alcohol transfrom overnight from a good substance to a bad substance to again being a good substance? No. Alcohol remained the same as it ever was, the only thing that changed was its standing before the law.

In North Dakota It is illegal to lie down and fall asleep with your shoes on.

In PA, You may not sing in the bathtub.

In NY, While riding in an elevator, one must talk to no one, and fold his hands while looking toward the door.

Now, since these things are illegal, they are obviously bad, uncaring, and selfish. Why? Or am I right?

Here is another one for you, that NC actually enforces.

The mere possession of a lottery ticket is illegal in North Carolina and may result in a $2,000 fine.
