Between 20 and 30 students signed releases to appear in the flick...

Let's see, legal adults, signed releases, and consentual sex. Other than forbidding a commercial enterprise on school property, there isn't a whole lot the school can (or should) do. This is a good chance for students to actually learn about individual responsiblity and consequences for decisions they made.

Agreed. If they want to have sex on camera and it's not on school property, that's their choice no matter how stupid that may be or what the administration may think. Granted, it's not good PR for the school and it's not the best of choices for the students, but they have to deal with the consequences.

I don't understand the hysteria! The college students are no angels. They take drugs on campus, they drink illegally, and they have sex, right on MTV in the spring breaks! What is the big deal? The whole freaking society has been debased slowly but surely.

If you and I can help influence things, let us do it! Other wise, let us not became so surprised, why a twenty years old student is acting in a porn movie. If you visit a strip club, you would be surprised to know that most of the strippers, who are doing the lap dancing, are college students.

And a good chance for the students to learn that some people in society don't give a sh-t about them.

Not just school property, but state government-owned property as well, and should the university's trustees permit some commercial business operations on that property while discriminating against others, they're just begging for a lawsuit...and, since they receive Title 44 federal funding, it'll be in federal court, where triple damages can be imposed for their *arbitrary and capricious actions.*

Too, Indiana has an Official Misconduct statute that can also be applied to those who approve such unevenly administered decisions. And though just a misdemeanor for the first offense, a second could fall under the Indiana state racketeering statute- a felony....

Besides, I don't think the IU Board of Trustees, particularly P.A. Mack, want anyone looking too close at their background....
