...if I agree to have it filmed in my residence that is also my business. Even if it is a dorm room on a university campus.

I don't know if that would fly, at least at a public university. It seems to me that a commercial activity that takes place on school grounds (which encompasses dorm rooms, no matter who's in the room) would not be allowed regardless of consent and age.

"Commercial enterprise" is a fairly broad term. You could concieveably lump Girl Scout Cookies, Car Washes and bake sales (among other things) in with the pornographers.

I think the mooks that run ASU and IU simply have their noses out of joint because the filming of these classics of the modern spankoriffic genre reinforce the notion that these are party schools as opposed to institutions of higher learning.

IU should be more ashamed of brooming Bobby Knight than a few "caught on tape" hummers

I havent seen any stories about universities banning students from providing commercial services from their rooms, such as typing services, resume preperation, etc...
