I always thought III and IV were vague and difficult to prove legally, but BJ should have been NAILED on I and II, because there was no disputing of the facts.
Then again, if he had been removed, Gore would be Pres now, with the country rallying around him post-9/11 - scary! So maybe it was better just to hold our noses for 2 years and clear the whole bunch out in 2000.

Funny you should mention that. On many occasions I sent e-mail, faxes, and postcards, and made calls to Gore's office suggesting that he invoke Section 4 of the 25th Amendment and declare Clinton unable to carry out his duties. He would have been a sitting president who acted for the good of his country and would have easily won election. Instead, he stood behind The Rapist, he denied knowledge of the rape of Juanita Broaddrick, and he now makes appearances looking like the court jester.
25TH AMENDMENT - for reference

Nothing subs for doin' the right thing. The right thing would have had the murdering rapist out of office and behind bars. Yes, perhaps Algor Mortis would be Prez now -- but that is only a what if.
Every Senator voted to cover-up Clinton's crimes and misdemeanors by holding and setting a mockry of a precedent of a sham "trial". Even the Chief Justice played along -- he could have walked out and marked us all a good mark in History's Ledger.
Thanks G-d the articles got voted through the House, and have left us smaller but permanent mark on the record. Otherwise we'd be headless or butts up pates towards Mecca in the near what-if future had even the House failed it's duty.
