Like I said, things don't break along the lines you might expect around here. I saw a fair number of NRA caps at the Landrieu rally I went to, and while I couldn't read the wearer's minds, at least they weren't heckling.

Perhaps the NRA caps at the Landrieu rally merely show that voters are energized for this campaign. Voting out a U.S. senator in LA happens no more frequently than the return of Halley's comet -- once about ever 75 years. So if Landrieu wins, it means the Democrats' winning streak in LA elections for Senate will surpass the tenure of Halley's comet. Perhaps the NRA men were "plants" by the Landrieu camp to show its "diversity," a favorite word of the modern Democrat. The big advantage that Landrieu still has is the 66 percent Democrat voter registration.
