Tell us how crowded/not crowded it was when you went to vote!
Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

I just voted at about 10:30 AM. The poll is only about a mile away (south side of Slidell). Weather is nice, about 50F and clear. When I walked in there were two in the booth, three in line ahead of me and three more came in before I left.
Hopefully they will all be drinking Jim Jones Koolaid at Landrieu's election party tonight.

Not that it matters, but I just returned from a few errands and the Landrieu sign wavers outnumber the Terrell ones 4 to 1. Desperation maybe?

My good Friend Wanda from NO voted at 9:30 she would like you all to know that there was a Low turnout at that time. She feels a Low Voter turnout should Favor Terrel. Thanks
To: sweetliberty
It's Ray Flynn, from MA, former Mayor of Boston, I believe, and was one of Bubba's ambassdaor to the Vatican .. the other being Lindy Boggs who'd likely be on the Landrieu bandwagon. Obviously, Flynn can't vote for Terrell, but will probably sway a number of Catholic voters in LA.

I just returned from the polls here in a conservative prescenct (sp?) in Baton Rouge. The poll workers were commenting on the turnout. They said that the current tunout was at, or higher than, that of the general election.
This is a conservative area, I believe the base is mobilized, motivated and moving forward to through out Little Miss Mary Brownroots.
On a side note, I heard Terrell tell Mary this morning that "it appears ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!!!!"
AAHH!! IEEE!! UMMM UMM SES' BON'

Every FReeper in Louisiana needs to call or pickup a friend and get them to the polls.
Much of my moms family is in the Lafayette area and because of that and working in the oilfield, I know the area well. I've been supplied with a list of likely voters / hunters in that area and I've been calling them from Houston since last night.
Thank goodness for free long distance/weekend minutes on my cell phone!! ;-)

In Louisiana, does "parish" mean what the rest of us know as a "county"?

How do the Daley's do it you might ask? They are so adept at their business that they actually manufacture votes out of thin air through a secret, patented process. I hear they use cold fusion.

I think that the 'two seat' thing is Lott's reference to eliminating two seats from each committee both of which would be Democrat, thus leaving a one seat majority to the Republicans.....
Remember when the 107th began with a 50-50 split, the Republicans got a one seat majority.... When the Democrats took over they added two seats both Democrat to give them the one seat majority. All Lott is talking about is taking the number of seats back to the original numbers.
