What a team - one to be "disappointed" in us and one to get p!ssed off at us!
To: scannell
Ah - the Democrats fielding the "Also-Ran" ticket!
Can't wait for a chance to not vote for both of them again!

And when Toobin suggested to McCain that the two (Lieberman and McCain) feel the same about President Bush, [McCain] responded: "Exactly . . . I probably don't feel as strongly negative."Exactly?
Not as strongly negative?
Johny's already a Democrat. The worst kind, too. The Republican kind.

Two retreaded losers - one who goes through the motions for God, and another who hates God and enjoys beating on people of faith. Could make for some interesting ink!

I don't think there's truth to this Lieberman story. McInsane's super-sized ego just would not allow him to play second fiddle to Holy Joe. I can't picture him being a faithful Vice President. This guy blows his stack regularly. No one wants to be in the same room with a publicity hound.
To: goldstategop
Hhhmmmm....Joe didn't seem to mind being in the same room with Al Gore! I figure he'd run with just about anybody. Joe is so compromised that he'd run with the devil himself, if he thought it might make Joe look like a moderate!
To: scannell
LOL--LIEberman has become as delusional as Al Gore!!! Not only does he think he can beat President Bush, but he thinks McEgo would actually consent to be his V.P.!! That is just too funny!!!!
If Trent Lott has half a ball left, he'll totally neutralize McNasty one way or the other. I'm not holding my breath, though.

LIEberman is NOT Presidential material. Gore only chose him to get the Jewish vote. This clown would never get the Democratic nomination on his own. Reagan chose Bush 1 because he was his most popular competitor and he could pick up the entire base by selecting him as VP. Sorry Joe, but your 15 minutes ended in 2000.

I don't think that people will vote for a president who sounds like Elmer Fudd on valium.
To: goldstategop
You are absolutely right. There is no way that McCain would accept anything less than the #1 slot.
A Lieberman-McCain ticket would do about as well as Mondale did against Reagan.

2002: Lieberman-McCain
2004: Kerry-McCain
2006: McCain-???
Better yet... let's make sure McKeating doesn't get the nomination.

McCain/Obama? McCain/Kennedy? Would either be out of character for the Maverick?

Yeah...a small part of me almost wants McCain to get the nomination, just so he can start cursing himself for McCain-Feingold when he starts trying to buy ad time near the end of the race.
Then the rest of me starts beating the crap out of that small part of me and prays for a different candidate.
