SACRAMENTO - When Sheila Kuehl arrived in Sacramento eight years ago as California's first openly gay lawmaker, she was given a cartoon that poked fun at her solitary status: A waiter welcomes her to a dinner of lesbian and gay lawmakers, announcing, ``Table for one!''

I know I'm not
supposed to be judgemental based on looks, but Sen. Sheila Kuehl is the model for Michael Savage's classic "mean faced, clipped hair woman."
As for the rest of the article, CA is in big, big trouble. That's with a capital "T" which rhymes with "D" and that stands for Davis, Democrats, ...

Schools should have a mandatory class the same year as sex-ed: How to Figure Out Your Own Identity. This class should institute: how to take responsibility for your own actions, how not to become different to "fit in", how to not blame everyone else for your own problems you need to resolve yourself, etc., etc. It shouldn't get to the level of marriage, I, personally, don't think.

Should be heading up the Department of Corrections.

LOL... The decision is made for the most part, the mechanics of it all is yet to be determined. My wifey is still a couple years short of her being free employment-wise to move. But, at the rate layoffs are still happening around here and elsewhere, who knows? Good luck to you in your Nevada adventure.

I remember Rush saying something like: Politics is show biz for the ugly.

... join us in Nevada... A BUMP for northern Nevada (the last refuge of American semi-Liberty).
You know - folks are now putting deposits down on apartments, condos and rental houses here SIGHT-UNSEEN. It's really a pain in the ass.

I wonder what fraction of the homosexual legislators' constituents know that their representatives belong to the intolerant "caucus." Since the vast majority of Californians don't want their children taught to become homosexual, the parents might not appreciate the indoctrination efforts of the openly homosexual legislators (if the parents knew).

Since the 1980's Sacramento, not San Francisco, has had the largest concentration (numerical) of homosexuals of any city in California.
This concentration is the result of the job protection that state employment provides.
