I was truly whining over the destruction of poverty and the budget deficits, I guess. Or over the destruction of Americans dieing in foreign wars. Yeah, things are so much better now.
You guess? You guess? Then even you don't know what you're whining about.
Time to dial up those meds, partner.
As of right now, you live within the borders of the world's only true superpower. But you know - Delta has flights leaving every day - feel free to hop one to France.
Are you going to enlighten us with what catastrophic event happened on November 19, yet?
While on the subject of dates, perhaps you'd like to turn to the ever trusty Google and plug in September 11, 2001. Then get back to us about Americans dying and the subject of war. 'K?
WWI-Wilson (D) (won)
WWII-Roosevelt (D) (won)
Korean War-Truman (D) (tied)
Vietnam War-Kennedy/Johnson (D) (tied)
So, except for Grenada, Panama, and Gulf War I (all wins), all of the wars in the 20th Century have been started on the Democratic watch.
I notice that you didn't say anything about our entry into the Bosnian/Kosovo conflicts ... did you have a problem with our being involved in those under Clinton?
And after you research your dates, perhaps you can entertain us with the tale of how the election was "stolen". Perhaps you are of the view that votes cast for George W. Bush are illegitimate "just because"?
Clearly "proud liberals" do not consider voters who cast their votes for Republicans to be legitimate. Naturally, this view is shameful and disgusting.
Ummm, Klintoon sent our boys to die in Bosnia. Have you forgotten that, idiot?
Nice sarcasm.
Would you like someone to drag out the poverty statistics for 1992-2000? They didn't change much.
The budget deficits decreased under Clinton for two reasons: The House was GOP-controlled (Dems aren't exactly known for cutting taxes or spending), and Clinton's agencies used some intriguing accounting tricks to skew the numbers. (FReepers, got links?)
Third, Clinton used American troops in 33 different conflicts... Bush has used them in one (rescusing Afghanistan from the Taliban, and punishing the Taliban for refusing to turn over Osama and the others responsile for killing 3000 American non-combatant citizens). The last time we went into Iraq, we lost fewer of those soldiers there than we did while they were at home in the US (traffic accidents, etc). I doubt that, short of Weapons of Mass Destrcution, we will lose too many in rescuing the people of Iraq (have you seen what Saddam did to 41 villages of Kurds who spoke out against him?)
Yeah, thanks to the liberal media, homelessness was eraticated, no corperate crooks were uncovered. Don't forget Kosavo, no one of any worth "dieing" there.>/p>
