[history]
Tom Daschle, Al Gore and now Bill Clinton have to get over their belief that a media conspiracy was behind the poor showing of Democrats in last month's election.
This week the former president told the Democratic Leadership Council that successful Republican candidates were aided by an "increasingly right-wing and bellicose conservative press" which was drowning out "an increasingly docile establishment press." (Full disclosure: According to a Fox News report, "he cited only the Wall Street Journal by name.") Calling conservative criticism of Sen. Daschle "unconscionable," Mr. Clinton railed that Republicans "have a destruction machine. We don't have a destruction machine."

If Mr. Clinton isn't satisfied that the entire media establishment is left-leaning, why doesn't he just take it to the Supreme Court? Personally.

At first it seemed the rantings of Tiny Tom and Albore were just that - miscellaneous whines and cries from those who aren't used to being criticized. Kinda like the way bullies on a playground will attempt to deflect attention when the other kids no longer cower in fear.
Now THE IMPEACHED ONE has weighed in - singing the same song. So one must re-think what is going on. This cacophonus chorus from these disgraced socialists has to be orchestrated from deep within the bowels of the DNC. One can picture Car-vile writing the script.
Folks, for the sake of this republic - pray like you've never prayed before that these clowns never ever gain ALL the reigns of power. They are totalitarians to the core - they tolerate NO criticism.
If they return to power - say hello to FAIRNESS DOCTRINE II, and goodbye to talk radio, the internet as we know it, and any other alternative sources of news.

""So far the only insurgent in the 2004 presidential field is Al Sharpton, who insists his party should lurch so far to the left that it would crash into oncoming traffic.""
Good line, I like it. Is there any hope that they will?

Criminals never stop until they are incarcerated or killed. There is no downside to the Democratic Crime Syndicate's latest tactics. These criminals are smart...very smart.

Last week, Mr. Begala announced on air that "I take liberties every day" and proceeded to call Mr. Limbaugh a "fat boy" and "lard butt." Is this the Democrats' idea of tackling weighty issues? Answer: YES.
ROFLMAO

The New York Times reports that "Fox has a solid lead over CNN, and has left MSNBC in the dust." Fox's prime-time ratings are up 17% from a year ago, while CNN's are down 31%. For many, many years, I have not watched any TV news at all. I never watch the local news, because it is just too idiotic( Here in Northern NJ, we only get New York City local affiliates and their news programs are DUMB.) But now I rush to feed the animals, grab a drink and hit the sofa in time to watch Special Report with Brit Hume. I LOVE that show.

Contrary to Fund's comment above, I don't think Krautheimer was joking when he characterized Dashchle's comments as "the edge of loonieness."

These guys really STILL (it's been a month) running around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off.
It's like they are in mourning and haven't got beyond the anger phase yet. If they don't get their act together and soon 04 is going to be real bad for them.

Joisey huh, is Lautenburg senile or has he always been this scatterbrained and unfocused? I think he's old and senile. Based on some of his accomplishments, he must have had focus at some point in his life.
