So many widows, so little time. Lately, I have been honored with the distinction of several trusting people from across the planet to make me rich. Mostly unfortunate Nigerian widows.
Their English is spotty, but the message is clear....I'm not quite sure what they may have unearthed in my 'financial pursuits' portfolio, but it is somewhat of a distinction, knowing an international trade commission has given me the green light....(snip)

I received two in the past two weeks. The real kicker is that they can sit and send these out day after day for nearly nothing and it only takes one to make them rich. A few months ago some dumb broad embezzled her boss out of $400,000 trying to get these crooks to pay off. Of coruse she never saw a dime.

Has anyone had these "off shore" telemarketers call? For over the span of three weeks I had over ten calls from indians in India putting the close on for a cell phone. This kind of multi national crap has to stop..... I want real american telemarketers...... multi-cultural ones that say things like " I want to axe you about... " and use words such as "and whatnot"

When I get a babbling foreigner as a telemarketer, I listen but interrupt about ever 5th word with, "What did you say?" and "I'm sorry, but you speak English so badly that I can't understand a word you just said" and "Could you repeat that slowly and louldy?" and finally, I lay the phone down and walk away.

Wasn't there an article recently about the Secret Service wanting peoople to send them those emails from Africa? Maybe not, but I'm sure I saw soomething to that effect.
As for the telemarketers.....just because they call me, I buy nothing from their companies. And as soon as I know it's a telemarketer, I say "no thanks" and hang up.
