"This is ridiculous! Then all employees 'lovers'/ dogs/neighbors/cats will want full health insurance." Believe it or not, many US corporations now offer "domestic partner" health benefits. In my industry (IT) for example, it's getting rare to find a company that doesn't extend benefits to domestic partners (an expansion of traditional spousal benefits that includes gay/lesbian lovers). I don't like it but there it is.

Oh...I thought you were suggesting that's all they talk about. It's only one of their six major areas of concern. And, the nature of porn has a direct impact on women and children...and men. And, of course, the Word of God has already spoken on this issue.

I agree wholeheartedly. :)

Yes porn can have a direct impact on some people, but so do a lot of things (drinking, tobacco, and TV to name a few)
In my opinion, the abortion issue is damaged when groups like this stress how antiporn they are. A lot of the American public watches and enjoys porn without being harmed by it. These people may have trouble supporting anti-abortion groups that also campaign against porn.

CWA is not complaining about Playboy, they are complaining about Mademoiselle and those other magazines with the "10 ways to improve your sex life" sub-headlines.

We are supposed to buy this stuff? I thought WalMarts put the trashy magazines there for us to read while standing in long lines, waiting to check out.

Actually, in his parable of the talents, Christ shows that he approves of making a profit by rewarding those that made a profit, and showing disaproval to the one whom had one talent and did nothing with it. Sure it is a parable, but Christ uses sound principals to illustrate his points. Look at Matthew 25:14-30.

Luke 19. Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.
And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.

I wonder if these benefits apply to heterosexual lovers? They are domestic partners. Why would I have to be married to get benefits for my lover? Are homosexuals getting a benefit noone else does? How do they determine who is eligible for benefits? If I'm a muslim, legally married to one wife, can I get coverage for the three other "lovers" and their children? It's no wonder medical insurance rates have gone through the roof!
