: ) How 'bout these, too? : )

squash/pumpkin latkes

2 cups pumpkin or other winter squash (such as butternut), raw, shredded fine and drained hard
1/2 grated onion (optional)
1 egg
1/2 cup self-rising flour oil
1 tsp. salt
1/4-1/2 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder (optional)

Drain the squash again, until it's really dry. Mix together all ingredients. Fry in hot oil, a couple of minutes per side.

Dad and I went to his neice's (my cousin's) house and had a very nice Thanksgiving with her family and other family there.

Dad had his second skin graft on his hand and is doing just fine. They let him take off the neck brace/collar after 4 weeks as his neck fracture had stabilized.

I hope you're Thanksgiving was lovely.

Thanksgiving was a special day when I was overseas.

It meant letter writing, self reflection, fond memories, and the mess hall would give a hundred and twenty percent effort to make everyone feel at home.

Yes indeed, a very special time of the year.

Thanks for your hard work on this thread Kathy!

I'm doing fine. There is a lot of things going on here. January 22 we will be voting again, and the left is getting bigger. There are a lot of things to do.

It's great to see you and the others, I must make some time free to look around more.

Are you or were you a member of the of the 7th/15th FAR? The better question is are you the owner of these picture that came from www.landscaper.net? If you are not the owner and you do do not have permission to use these pictures, you are in direct violation of the US Copyright act.
