I've only been on Free Republic for slightly less than a month. I've had some interesting flame wars, met a lot of interesting people, and found a refuge from the politically correct. BTW: I've learned a lot and had a lot of fun doing. All I want to say is Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and yours and God Bless everyone of you.

Are you referring to the article links in blue on the left side of Sparta's profile page?

That's just a result of using the "bookmark" link found in each and every thread at FR.

Right under the body of the thread will be an area which looks like this (example from this thread):

KEYWORDS: HAPPY THANKSGIVING; Click to Add Keyword

Happy Thanksgiving from Munich, Germany. Right now my widowed Mama is presiding over several tables back home in Missouri with my sisters, brothers, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc., along with a dear family friend who lives alone but gets adopted by our family this time of year. And they are eating stuffed oyster dressing from the turkey - a recipe handed down by my Virginia ancestors. I can taste it right now as I write this!
