Excuse the vanity, but this has gotten completely ridiculous.
Fox News Channel just broke in with a "!This is a Fox News Alert!" to breathlessly announce that Nicolas Cage was getting a divorce.
Beam me up, Scotty.

What's next, commercials for strip clubs, potency enhancement, and 1-900 sports gambling?
To: rintense
Yes. Fox said he was a big Elvis fan.
I guess he has checked that collectible off his list.
It shouldn't be a news alert, though.
To: rintense
Yes - Michael Jackson was married to her for far longer, 5 monthsa if my memory serves me. I am shocked, SHOCKED!

I guess so, that's who he is divorcing.
I must go, am rushing to check how the markets will react to this.

The guy who hits the button to make the wooshing noise gets paid piece rate, or at least it seems that way.

What's next, commercials for strip clubs, potency enhancement, and 1-900 sports gambling? Were that to be the case they would be about as relevant as KLIF 570 AM in Dallas. Cant stand that talk radio station anymore for all the B$ commercials.
To: rintense
Did you see the one this morning where they interrupted the reporter giving political news report to show that Lynn Cheney was in the cherry picker practicing going up to the top of the national Christmas tree? Sorry, but that was not breaking news. It wasn't even the real thing. It was rehearsal. geesh.
They need to stop it with those news alerts or let us decide what is worthy of an alert. They alert, we decide.

Maybe he criticized her Scientology and became an S.P. or P.T.S. (suppressive person or potential trouble source). Those people are sick.

No kidding, and the sad thing is that Greg Knapp is easily the best conservative talk show host on DFW radio.

Fox News Channel just broke in with a "!This is a Fox News Alert!" to breathlessly announce that Nicolas Cage was getting a divorce. LOL! You speak the truth!
To: TrappedInLiberalHell
could be true, I was reading just now, elsewhere, that Cage said she was looney tunes.....burnt brain and all......I
believe it.......
To: Diddle E. Squat
To be honest, Nicolas Cage's marital woes are more relevant to my life than anything Tom Daschle and his ilk have to say.

Yes he did just marry her.
He probably couldn't handle that Church of Scientology babble, that her & her mother speak.

Presley is a Scientologist. Cage should never have married her to begin with (obviously).

So what is the record for number of times getting married? Now for the inconsiderate comment:
Who does she think she is, a certain idol of a false religion?

I concur.
We often have the TV on Fox in the background, not watching.
I used to look up when the dramatic "News Alert" sound was played.
No more!
