One of the most important points clarified by the scientific paper from the Finnish team (link in comment #8) is that
out of 40 bodies only one displayed "Signs of contact or close-range firing" (see Table 3; note that the word "firing", which is used in the text, is substituted in the table by the word "discharge"). The lack of close range firing demonstrates that the "execution" scenario is a lie concocted by the KLA, imposed on the "witnesses" (presumably under threat of death of self or family at the hands of the KLA) and parroted by western KLA patrons (starting with the repulsive William Walker) and by gullible (or hypocritic) media.
Having debunked the execution scenario, by far the most likely scenario of the civilian Racak dead is that some of them fought willingly and some (probably most if not all) were forced by the KLA to fight. The KLA knew that most of these poor guys would die in a battle with Serbian forces, making excellent propaganda. This is probably what Ranta means when talking vaguely about a "crime against humanity" without being specific.

Or that many of the Albanian dead were used as human shields by the KLA. Thus you can charge the Serbs with "crimes against humanity" (violations of the Geneva conventions) for firing at the KLA through civilians, in other words conducting military operations in an area where civilians are in the way of the fighting. Clever of the KLA, eh?

Thank you very much for this very valid point. You are in agreement with what I have been posting for some time that the KLA are in fact responsible for the deaths of the Racak villagers.

Having debunked the execution scenario,Get a grip, pythag.
What distance constitutes 'close range firing'?
I believe we hashed this out previously and determined that GSR doesn't travel all that far from the barrel to the victim, ergo, the bullets in the ground trump your supposed 'debunking'.
