James Carville: I'm Outraged. Are you?

Democratic News

James Carville

Dear [redacted],

The battle for the White House starts now.

The big-money, special interest friends of the Republican Party spent more money this election than any mid-term election in history -- enough to outspend Democrats two-to-one -- and now they're getting their payback.

Why, just this week the GOP snuck special provisions in the Homeland Security Bill to pay back their special interest friends -- like drug companies and tax cheats -- with President Bush calling wavering Senators on the phone and begging them to vote for these special interest provisions!

That's just the tip of the iceberg for the Republicans. Bush and the GOP are going to use their slim victories in the 2002 elections to push through an ultraconservative right-wing agenda far out of the mainstream.

Just imagining the giveaways to the special interests makes me mad as hell, and it should make you mad, too:

  • More tax cuts for special interests
  • Letting the pharmaceutical companies write a phony prescription drug benefit
  • Privatizing Social Security and threatening the retirement savings of millions of seniors
  • Rolling back corporate reforms
  • Declaring open season on clean air and other environmental laws

The trail between the special interest dollars and this agenda is so clear, a child can see it.

If you're as outraged as I am, and you want to win back the White House and Congress as much as I do, we need to start fighting now! The Democratic Party is gearing up for battle with the Republicans over their right wing agenda, but they need YOUR support!

Democrats like our new House leader Nancy Pelosi are fighting for what's right, but we need YOU to continue supporting the Democratic causes that we know are right, for our country and our families.

Please click here today to help Democrats fight the right wing agenda of George W. Bush and the GOP. Democrats need your support to help bring down this special interest machine!

Thank you so much for your support,
James Carville

Yes, I'm outraged, there should be more commas in place.

Democrats, like our new House leader, Nancy Pelosi, are fighting for what's right,

Dear [redacted],

Didn't get past this..I knew it was a lie when Carville could not address the party correctly..It should be:

Dear [retarted],

Once again, the DNC lies in it's promo's, and from the outset even..

James, I want you to go to your window, open it wide, and shout at the top of your lungs:

I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more!

And then, James, I want you to JUMP!

Just remember, in typical Orwellian fashion we will watch as our fearless news media ignores Carville and instead labels Republicans as being the Party of Hate...

"far out of the mainstream"

Yes you are Mr. Carville - and that's why your democRATS lost.

By the way, there is no such thing as a "democratic party" - it's the DemocRAT Party, plain and simple.

True.

But if Carville died in the desert, while he might be too vile for the vultures to eat, the dungbeetles might take a crack at him! ;-)

Yep.

Look up 'vile' in the dictionary, and they've put his picture there to illustrate it.
