Not only do they have the right to do this, it might actually be smart. What happens when the trial lawyers start suing companies like Lowes because they let their employees smoke. They will say companies like Lowes are as much at fault as the tobacco companies in causing these poor helpless people to get cancer---
"After all, my poor client has no money and lung cancer--Lowes has billions of dollars and they encouraged her to smoke with their pro-smoking policies".
It is simply pro-active policy in this victim's world--
Not only do they have the right to do this, it might actually be smart. What happens when the trial lawyers start suing companies like Lowes because they let their employees smoke. They will say companies like Lowes are as much at fault as the tobacco companies in causing these poor helpless people to get cancer--- What about their obese? And don't tell me that LOWE'S doesn't have obese people working for them. When one out of 10 people in the US are obese, LOWE'S has to hire SOME of them!
How about working at LOWE'S being obese and falling dead from a heart attack at the age of 37 because of being fat? How about sueing then?
The attorneys have jumped on the bandwagon for obesity, so everyone better watch out. You/They could be next, and I'm not kidding. No one is safe.
