Mike Haynes remembers when he would have sounded a lot like Garrison Hearst.
There was the day Haynes swore at his mother, the first time he dared to treat her so disrespectfully. They were arguing about a homophobic insult he had tossed at one her co-workers, a gay man she considered a friend. She insisted that her son apologize. He refused. He was 14.

Maybe this was Haynes problem. My problem with homosexuality is that God says it's a sin, and I have found it is better to agree with God than with man.
Every disease has some relapse cases. Does that mean we should just stop trying to cure the disease? I don't think so.

Some people disagree with you. That's okay. You don't have to fix them; they are fine. Everyone on the planet does not have to agree with your world view. Get over yourself.
Some people do well holding hands in encounter-groups singing "Kum-ba-ya", and some do not. If a football player wants to accept or exclude a certain individual as a member of his circle of friends based upon sexual-orientation or any other criteria, then let him. Sheesh! This broad needs to get a life of her own and quit borrowing from others.
