Any diversion that kills liberalism is okay by me.

You're missing the point: people will do ANYTHING to get on television. Are you aware that most of the contestants on that idiotic show Survivor hired their own agents and publicists, even if they were only on the show one week? I'm sure some of these women saw an appearance on this show, however humiliating, to be a chance at stardom, perhaps to get a better job, or at a minimum, to make themselves known and very attractive to those bachelors remaining in their own hometowns. As tacky as it is, it beats looking like a fool to the world on jerry springer.
I do understand your point, however, you missed my point, which was men are not willing to be humiliated for the chance to be on TV! That is what the bachelor guy said when Jay asked him if there were 27 guys chasing one bachelorette girl, whould you like to be one? He said no!

Gawwwwd, I am going to throw-up! One channel we have what 25 girls competing for a boy (I won't say man, as he's not)! On another channel we have anorexic girls parading around in bras and panties. And yet another channel is "The West Wing." The left wing nut political fantasy show! I could just puke....

>>I found it amazing that women fell in love so easily<<
Don't get out much, eh?
To: Wright is right!
>>The girl he DID pick did NOT "give it out for free." <<
Man, it's NEVER free...
To: Jim Noble
Nope! I don't want to, either. Actually, we own a bar but I seldom go there, especially since my first grandbaby was born 4 1/2 years ago. They are more fun than watching a bunch of people falling in love for a few hours. When I was in the dating scene and had my eyes set on someone, I was discreet and didn't let him know I was chasing him until he caught me. It's more fun that way. :)

As I understand it, that is exactly the next segment of the show; 27 guys chasing one girl. I wonder where they found them; like you, I don't think most men would submit to the public humiliation of it, even if it does bring "stardom".

Speaking of Jo Jo Gunn, I am conjuring up the name of Randy California or Randy Kalifornia, and Spirit. A little help please...
To: Lopeover
Tyra Banks is anorexic ?
To: freepersup
Randy California was in Spirit along with Jay Ferguson who was later in JoJo Gunn. Ferguson later had a brief more commercial solo career.
Spirit was a helluva a band IMHO. I remember JoJo mainly for "Ride".
Late 60s/early 70s stuff.....cloudy times indeed.

Come to think of it, they might find a roomful of slackers who would go for this..

Yes its scripted.

I don't think guys will care, all 27 will be hanging out like a frat house and egging on the first one to 'score' with the Bachelorette..

Yep...and Mr Sin was another bigger....as well as I Got a Line on You Babe!
They were sort of like early pre-Joker Steve Miller but not as trippy...IMHO.

I found it amazing that women fell in love so easily and that he seems to have fallen in love too, in just six weeks. "Wise men say-- only fools rush in,
But I can't help
falling in love..."
To: let freedom sing
LOL! I bet I can guess how old you are! I used to love that song! I guess I still do but I haven't heard it in 30 years!
