Why all the fawning over yet another show that trivializes the sanctity of relationships and marriage? I'll be damned if I'd want a phosphor-dotted lens craving bimbo.
To: Wright is right!
Exactly I knew Brooke would be the winner when she was in the limo and said that she 'couldn't turst him yet' and Aaron was so obviously falling for her.. asking her questions and inquiring about her needs.
A timely lesson for the ladies of today from the past about going slow in a relationship that drives a guy crazy!

Because anything that trounces the West Wing and diminshes the liberal spew being fed to the masses is at least a small positive.

Yea, I want to see where these people see these media reports saying he slept with the girls.
The only girl they had to film with a night vision lens was Gwen, and I think they might have actually "done the deed." Other than that, I don't think he slept with any of them.

"I think they live too far away from each other (Philly and KC) , and Aaron will eventually break the engagement and call Gwen." There are plenty of under-2-hr flights between KC and Philly. That's not going to be THAT big a factor immediately. And I think that Aaron may have already called Gwen. Were I he, I would call her - and let Helene know that I did. He seems to be an honest guy - if there IS to be a marriage arising from this show, he'll want it to be right.
Remember, the producers had planned to purchase the engagement ring, but Aaron insisted on paying for it himself. Harry Winston does not give away rings like that one. And Harry Winston doesn't sell Diamonique.

I will say that was a GORGEOUS ring he bought for her!! I respect the fact that he refused to let ABC pay for it and insisted that he was going to pay for any ring meant for the lady he was going to marry!

"Exactly I knew Brooke would be the winner when she was in the limo and said that she 'couldn't turst him yet' and Aaron was so obviously falling for her.. asking her questions and inquiring about her needs." Brooke was NOT chosen. HELENE was chosen. Are you typing in some sort of hyperbaric vacuum chamber?

Your logic is mind boggling. What of this kind of sewage being fed to the MassMind?
To: ewing
All the more reason to pull the plug on the ol' television set. Whatever happened to reading books?
To: JoJo Gunn
"Why all the fawning over yet another show that trivializes the sanctity of relationships and marriage? I'll be damned if I'd want a phosphor-dotted lens craving bimbo." This show - and Aaron and his family - went WAY out of their way to emphasize that nothing would be allowed to trivialize the institution of marriage. And Aaron systematically ELIMINATED anything even remotely resembling a phosphor-dotted lense-craving bimbo.
Your comments on this thread after not having seen the show are right up there with those from people knock Rush without ever having heard his show.

"I respect the fact that he refused to let ABC pay for it and insisted that he was going to pay for any ring meant for the lady he was going to marry!" Me, too, but one minor nit. ABC bought this show from a production company. The PRODUCTION company would have paid for the ring, not ABC.

To: KansasGirl
It was a Harry Winston ring that Aaron paid for himself.
Those don't come cheap.. I think he should think hard about the purchase he made and give it to Gwen who wouldn't beg for his heart if he didn't choose himself.

Anyone know what lake Aaron took the girls to in Oklahoma? I would love to have a house on that beautiful lake.
To: Wright is right!
Good point, Aaron's family was a class act.

One can be a bookworm and get off on looking at hot babes. I just finished reading 'Romeo and Juliet" for the 100th time and Thomas Hardy's "The Return of the Native".
Thank the Lord for Victoria's Secret!!! That fashion show was smokin!!

That's kind of slick, so the production company took out a loan from Aaron's bank to buy the ring?
