Well, I am working on a full analysis of this bill (see previous posts on the vaccine item). Will be about a day or so before I am done but will have more comments then. Schools dust off religious studies (Russia)- traditions of Orthodoxy, asceticism, liturgy, Bible looks like Russia may be heading in the right direction though ;)

Daschle speaking now: vote on Shedd next; then cloture vote on terrorism reinsurance; if cloture gets 60 votes, final vote on terrorism reinsurance. Daschle hopes it can all be completed this evening. Doesn't sound as if there's any intent to filibuster the Shedd confirmation.
